Q: Currency in Europe.  Iím going from the US to France for a week and then to England for a week. Can I use Euros in both places? --  DE (Ref:1112)

A: Currency in Europe. No, English currency is based on the pound. Even though American credit card companies have been slapping on more fees than ever, your credit card is still probably the best way to make purchases when out of the USA.  Linda Byard April 19 2005
